Meet The Collective

Renee moved to Portland Oregon in 2001.  Always inspired by art and creativity, she received her tattoo license in 2007. Since then she dedicated thousands of hours in creating and perfecting her skills and techniques. Christinea and Renee met in 2009 and have been thick and thieves ever since. At Portland Muse Collective, Renee shares her creative talents as the Operations Director. You can still have the pleasure of getting tattooed by her at Robot Tattoo and Piercing on NW 23rd ave.

My favorite thing to do in my personal life is to host people I love, for any occasion. I love seeing the excitement and joy that comes with making a place feel good and fill it up with good food, good people and, great times.  Portland Muse Collective is a space that brings that to life of me. People can come and have a unique experience in a stunningly beautiful place and leave feeling better then when they came. I think joy is in the details of our lives so every occasion is a special occasion.

I grew up in a nail salon with my mom, aunt and cousins. I remember when I was 10yrs old my first design was on my big toes, I was fixated on drawing a mound of sand with a palm tree on top, an ocean, a bird that looked like a wide “m” and a smiling sun; it was how I imagined being in paradise as a kid haha! Being a nail artist brings out my creativity and allows me space to connect with people from all walks of life.

     I prefer quality work over quantity. It’s my priority to protect and nourish the health of your natural nail growth without compromising the design or services. With each design I take my time to provide you with the nails you aspire to have. Although it takes time, patience and some self control my favorite part about doing nails is when a client allows me the ability to grow out their natural nails. It’s like watching your house plants thrive and flourish, after spending weeks trying to nurture them.

I pride myself on being meticulous and thorough and am very excited to find solutions for our skins troubles. It’s a journey and I'm excited and happy to be on the skin journey with you, from daily breakouts to diet and hydration. I am dedicated to learning about what works for you and how we can better customize your experience with your skin, from ingrown hairs to extractions and hydration I am ready!

In my free time, you can find me climbing, backpacking, camping, and getting out of the city as much as possible. I love to spend my time out in nature and be able to reconnect with my true form of self without the distractions of technology.

Heather graduated from the Everest Institute in 2013.  She specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, and sound healing. Her style and flow incorporates deep tissue and injury therapy with relaxation techniques, so that you leave feeling like you are floating out the door on a cloud. She finds joy in helping her clients gain relief from the stress and pain that can get in the way of living their lives to the fullest. She is a strong believer in the power of self-care. “Honor and care for yourself, so that you can be free to love deeply and live passionately.”

If you have a look you want but don't know how to achieve it, we can work together to form a plan. Cosmetic Tattooing and Microblading requires the initial appointment as well as a touch up and yearly refresh. I love to build friendships with my clients and keep you coming back for more!
